The Transport Team at Medical City Children’s Hospital cares for patients on their way to the hospital from cities and small communities in Texas and across the country. They provide a full spectrum of care during transport by ambulance, helicopter or airplane. Our Transport Team is the only medical transportation unit in the region exclusively staffed by registered nurses specially trained in the care and stabilization of pediatric and neonatal patients.
