 Fetal Anomaly Care and Treatment

The Fetal Anomaly Care and Treatment Program at Medical City provides the highest level of comprehensive care for mothers carrying babies with congenital defects. We bring together the brightest minds from Medical City Women’s and Medical City Children’s Hospital to create and implement individualized care plans to optimize your baby’s health. Our highly specialized multidisciplinary team includes obstetric, neonatal and pediatric specialists.

Just as important, our hospital provides a family-centered birthing experience that ensures mother and baby remain together throughout their stay. The comforting environment is filled with helpful resources. Medical City is one of only a few centers in the nation—and the only one in North Texas—to provide fetal surgery, pediatric open heart surgery and other leading-edge pediatric services all under one roof.

Our Center
As a regional referral center, our maternal and pediatric center includes a 37-bed NICU, 10-bed PICU and dedicated 10-bed Congenital Heart unit. Specialty pediatric nursing and 24-hour intensivist coverage also enable us to address babies’ special needs. Our program continues to grow to meet the needs of special-care newborns.
